Workplace : Germany (around Munich) Overview The Area Sales Manager supports the sales process from opportunities acquisition to production in a specific region. The Area Sales Manager collaborates with sales partners, Exxelia back office, Exxelia SBU technical support and engineering resources to ensure Exxelia value proposition accurately addresses customer needs and is appropriately demonstrated to key customer decision-makers. The Area Sales Manager is responsible for achieving booking targets made up of the combined expectations of the Exxelia SBU and Corporate.
Responsibilities - Works out opportunity acquisition on assigned regions maximizing impact on Exxelia booking objectives. - Contributes in achievement of booking targets and strategic objectives in the region. - Assesses and qualifies new partners aligned with recruitment objectives. - Establishes trusted, productive and professional relationships with key people in partner accounts and customer organizations. - Proactively leads Exxelia action plan with partner for the development of mutual performance objectives, booking targets, and strategic milestones. - Fosters and ensures sales activities to end customers through partner organization or directly. - Coordinates the involvement of Exxelia stakeholders, including back office, SBU technical support and corporate management resources. - Reviews on a quarterly basis the partner performance results and ongoing action plan. - Assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs and requests on a day to day basis. - Supervises margin and commission concerns through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement. - Manages potential channel conflict with other sales channel companies by fostering excellent communication internally and externally.
Deliverables - Each year, the Area Sales Manager sets the strategy on the region based on Exxelia corporate objectives and defines an action plan for Exxelia stakeholders. - During the Business Review every four months, the Area Sales Manager presents the business situation of the region as well as the main opportunity analysis. - At the end of each month, the Area Sales Manager writes a report to inform on the booking and billing situation, new projects and opportunities, quality/production issues. - Every two weeks, the Area Sales Manager reports out the main topics or concerns of the period.
Skills Graduate of an engineering school, you are specialized in the electronics. You have between 7 and 10 years of experience. You are autonomous, dynamic, have an ability to synthesize and know the techniques of negotiations. You master the Office Pack tools, CRM and ERP. You are bilingual English and Germany.
